The management was poor. The benefits are a waist of your hard earned pay. They will lay you off during holiday seasons. And they will fire anyone for petty reasons to save thier company money. An extremely high turnover rate.
Duties consisted of cold calling various organizations' IT departments to assess whether there is need or interest in a follow-up call from a sales associate who can provide solutions and outfit their IT environment.
Steady hours, decent wage, paid holidays
Being moved from one program to another so often was very frustrating.
I liked the job at first, but the pressure of the of getting leads and micro-managing. Then on top of that the hours were cut. I just couldn't do it anymore.
One Hour lunch, long breaks in between holidays.
Short breaks, micro-management

This place isn't as bad as other call centers I've worked with. They are flexible when it comes to time off and the breaks you get through the day are sufficient. The work environment is pretty chill. It's heavily sales based cold calling, that's the only downside. Like every other call center they breathe up and down your neck about sales and leads. But they make up for it because like I said, the job is lax, the employees and management are nice, you get your own desk...Yeah. I mean, I hate call centers altogether, but for what it is, this one isn't bad.
Nice management, nice co-workers, okay benefits, opportunity to grow
Heavily sales based, cold calling
