We are looking, for one of our clients in Brussels, for a GL Accountant.

You are managing a full cycle of accounting working with SAP and in BEGAAP and IFRS.



Location: Central Station, Brussels


Salary: 4500 - 5000 EUR monthly gross depending on your profile and previous experience

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

• Daily end-to-end accounting management (BEGAAP/IFRS).
• Recording and monitoring closing entries.
• Preparing balance sheet controls.
• Producing internal (group) reports under IFRS standards.
• Monitoring intercompany transactions.
• Participating in and/or lead digital and IT projects across

the Group.

• Preparing, coordinating, and/or reviewing reports for

internal and external stakeholders (e.g., BNB/NBB, Works Council).

• Representing the department in multidisciplinary

discussions.

• Reporting to the Accounting Manager.
• Serving as a backup to support the Accounting & Tax team

across functions.

• Assisting in discussions during audits and reviews with

various authorities (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and auditors.

WHAT WOULD WORK?

• You have a minimum of 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in Belgium in a

similar position, ideally in Big company, a Big Four, or a large SME ;

• Excellent self organization, you also describe yourself as

a team player and are looking to bring your knowledge to your
department;

• You have knowledge of IFRS AND BE GAAP ;
• Ideally you already have an experience with SAP ;
• You are fluent in DUTCH OR FRENCH. You have at least an

intermediate level in English, French and Dutch ;
