The Pega Delivery Director serves as a trusted owner, strategist, thought leader, and steward of the Pega ecosystem within Telenet. Acting as a bridge between Telenet and external partners like Pega, this role is responsible for all aspects of Pega programs, including planning, financial management, resource allocation, governance, and risk management. The director embodies and promotes organizational culture, facilitates staff development, and takes full responsibility for value creation and the achievement of strategic objectives within the Pega ecosystem, contributing to Telenet's profitability and value development.

Your responsibilities

  • Crafting a short-, mid-, and long-term vision for the Pega ecosystem at Telenet, aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs through analyzing market trends, technologies, and customer requirements to design a forward-looking roadmap.
  • Driving optimizations and new initiatives in collaboration with other departments, such as processes, systems, and policies.
  • Defining, monitoring, and adjusting the budget for the Pega platform; acting as the business owner for the Pega ecosystem.
  • Making informed and accountable decisions regarding investments and initiatives that add value
  • Maximizing the potential of the Pega ecosystem by implementing improvement programs and innovations.
  • Automating and optimizing services using Pega capabilities, aligned with Telenet's priorities and value creation.
  • Leading the Pega management team, collaborating with key delivery partners and the Pega account team.
  • Defining roles, responsibilities, and development goals while coaching teams to foster continuous growth and excellence
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customer organizations and the Pega account team.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Pega-related activities, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Participating in industry events and networking with other Pega customers to leverage market insights within Telenet.

Our ideal Director Pega Delivery :

  • Master’s degree, Civil Engineer, or PhD with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development within the Pega context.
  • Experience in flexible and agile environments within telco is an advantage.
  • Ability to translate Telenet’s global strategy into concrete Pega objectives and results.
  • Expertise in Pega-driven transformations, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams and complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, capable of understanding both technical and business aspects.
  • Collaboration and negotiation skills to align diverse interests and achieve organizational goals.
