  • Are you an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of partnering with business leaders? At Lineas, we are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to take on a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our human resources strategies. As a trusted advisor, you will drive impactful organisational and talent initiatives, ensuring the right structures, people, and culture are in place to meet our ambitious goals.

This is not an entry-level role; we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional who excels in complex environments and can lead through influence, collaboration, and innovation.

Your role as a strategic HR business partner



Strategic advisory

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Act as a key liaison between the business and HR teams, ensuring alignment of initiatives and organisational priorities.

Organisational design

  • Analyse and optimise organisational structures, spans of control, and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for restructuring, transformation programs, and other change initiatives.

Talent strategy

  • Lead workforce planning efforts in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.
  • Drive leadership recruitment processes, ensuring top-tier talent acquisition for critical roles.
  • Develop and implement succession planning and performance management strategies to build a strong pipeline for key positions.

Leadership Development

  • Coach and mentor senior leaders, enhancing their people management and decision-making capabilities.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs to strengthen management effectiveness.


Change Management

  • Lead complex transformation initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and cultural integration.
  • Provide guidance on maintaining a healthy social climate during periods of change.


Operational excellence

  • Ensure cost-efficiency in staffing and resource allocation, contributing to budgeting processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement HR policies effectively.


Your Profile



We are looking for a dynamic professional with the following qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in senior HR roles, ideally in international or complex organisational settings.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch; proficiency in French.
  • Leadership Style: Consultative and collaborative, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
    • Expert in organisational development and HR strategy.
    • Strong coaching and change management capabilities.
    • Proficient in modern HR tools and MS Office.
    • Knowledgeable in Belgian social legislation
  • Additional Requirements:
    • A valid Category B driving license.
    • Willingness to work at our locations in Antwerp Port, Ghent& Zeebrugge Seaport and in the headquarters in Brussels
