Are you excited about the opportunity to be a pioneer in constructing Spain's first 300mm cleanroom? We're looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our Engineering team!

What you will do

You will initially work for two years in our Belgium headquarters, collaborating within our FAIN engineering department. After this period, your pioneering journey starts with a relocation to Malaga (Spain) to be involved with the commissioning of a semiconductor cleanroom and related facilities. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the electrical and instrumentation systems in this brand new state-of-the-art cleanroom.
As our Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting during the construction phase, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Support project timelines and deliverables, playing a key role in our ambitious initiatives.
  • Continuous improvements: perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize system performance.
  • Quality assurance: Monitor system performance, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with the highest electrical safety and engineering standards.

Who you are

  • You have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have proven experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in the process industry.
  • You show a strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • You have experience with high and low voltage distribution systems
  • You are familiar with control and monitoring systems (FMCS)
  • You can count on your basic knowledge of gas detection systems
  • You possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You dare to take initiative and take ownership of your tasks while being an integral part of a team.
  • You have an open and clear communication style, both within the organisation and with external partners
  • You are flexible to relocate to Malaga (Spain), after an initial 2-year period in Belgium.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required, along with a good command of English.
