Job description

Mayten, headquartered in Brussels, is actively seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and success of innovative software products in the mobility sector. This crucial role involves not only shaping product vision and strategy but also actively contributing to the creation of software products from inception. The Product Owner will oversee the entire product lifecycle, manage delivery, and also assume responsibilities related to a Scrum Master.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business and customer needs.
  • Head cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, emphasizing product excellence and efficient collaboration.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to product launch, actively contributing to the creation of software products from scratch.
  • Guarantee timely delivery of product features, effectively managing timelines and resources to meet project goals.
  • Collaborate with various teams to create a cohesive strategy, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Oversee project timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure efficient execution of tasks to meet project goals.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments to the team's progress and ensure a smooth flow of work during sprints.
  • Shield the team from external distractions and enable a focused, productive work environment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices within the team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in product management in mobility, showcasing a strong understanding of Agile practices.
  • Proven ability to contribute to the creation of software products from scratch.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to guide cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in mobility projects is a plus
